Thirty-eight students from the Long Beach Unified School District recently participated in the 23rd annual Law Day presented by the Long Beach Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Keesal, Young and Logan Law firm.
The event allowed the students, ranging in eighth, ninth and 10th-grade, to learn more about pursuing a career in law and obtain information on various topics such as study guides, courthouse and law school visitations and more. The students also had a chance to participate in roundtable discussions with lawyers and legal professionals.
